Megan first found her love of yoga when she used it as a stress management tool in high school. In 2010, after a decade of trying different styles, she became a 200 hour Hatha Yoga instructor and began teaching beginner Hatha and family yoga in Vancouver. She has been grateful to be able to teach across British Columbia, at retreats in Goa, India and locally in the Waterloo, Ontario region.
 

Megan has been active in her continued education, having recently completed her 500 hour training through Semperviva Yoga in Vancouver.

Megan has studied and practices various yoga styles including Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Kundalini, and pain care yoga.

She now teaches classes locally, specializing in restorative yoga, hatha yoga, gentle yoga, beginners yoga, and family yoga. Megan's family yoga classes are play-based and explore of physical postures as well as incorporating mindfulness techniques. Megan's adult classes are anatomy-based to create a gentle opening while bringing awareness to one's breathing.

Megan is also a passionate advocate for mental health and loves to incorporate meditation and mindfulness into her yoga classes, as well as teach focused classes on the subject.
