Megan Prenty RMT, RYT
Megan attended the Vancouver School of Bodywork and Massage in 2007. After attending this program, a love of anatomy and massage was born, and she began to work in Vancouver spas providing relaxation treatments.
Soon after completing a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University in 2010, she became a 200 hour Yoga instructor and began teaching. Since then she has completed her 500 hr yoga teacher training and expanded her personal and professional practices. Megan has studied, and practices, various yoga styles and now teaches around the region of Waterloo, Ontario.
In 2015 she obtained a degree in Massage Therapy from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Cambridge, Ontario. Megan had been working as a registered massage therapist since 2016 and continues her education to be able to best support her clients.
She is currently pursuing a Bachelors in Health Sciences. When not in the clinic or studio Megan can be found locally giving public health lectures on a variety of topics. Passionate about mental health, Megan is also a member of the Region of Waterloo's Mental Health Network.
Megan combines her education in Yoga and anatomy in her massage therapy practice. She encourages clients to be active in their wellness care and endeavors to support them with information and strategies to best support their needs.
